Sugarcane Volo & Home Alone still unbeaten
Both Sugarcane Volo (Sugarcane Hanover - Simply Hanover) and Home Alone (Ultra Ducal - Holley's Finest) continued their winning streaks, taking the 14th win respectively the 5th career-wins.
Sugarcane Volo made his first visit outside Norway, when he captured Solvallaserien Club Grand Prix for top 4-year-olds at Solvalla. He took command after a quarter and was then never threatened, winning in a 2:03-rate/2.140 meters.
He showed his certain class, but the thrill was reduced as the card suffered from continous rain all afternoon and night, like the entire Swedish summer has.The main effort in 1998 for Sugarcane Volo is the Norwegian Trotting Derby.
Hans Petter Tholfsen guided the Anders and Jorgen Jahre J.r owned champion and added another win with Shocking Steel (Crown Bones), making it 100% for his trip from Norway.
Tholfsen has another important drive this week, when he will be up behind True Blue Victory at the Meadowlands in Hambo Oaks-elim.
