The Mighty Frøkjær brothers
Besög Frøkjær (Little Devil) and C.Tøj Frøkjær (Lindy´s Crown), the two sons of the top roducing mare Gå Ombord
(Pay Dirt), are the most promising younger Danishbred trotters at the moment.
They are 3-resp 4-year-old and both made their season´s debuts winning efforts at the Charlottenlund-track, Copenhagen Sunday afternoon.
Besög Frøkjær was dominating as well as C.Tøj and they both stayed quite calm, which used to be their problem, at least for Besøg. He topped easily in 2:01.3-rate/2.000 meters for driver Seppo Kukkonen.
Birger Jörgensen, the most dash-winning driver in Scandinavia up til now, enjoyed the trip behind the son of Lindy´s Crown, who answered the bold challenge of U.S-imported Hampshire (American Winner - Miss Piggy).
The U.S-bred favorite had difficulties to reach the finish-line after their furious private duel, which ended with C.Tøj coming home alone.
Both are probable starters in the usually classy cards at
Bjerke´s Oslo Grand Prix and at Solvalla during the Elitlopp-weekend.
